When you are about to finish school, one of the most important decisions you need to make is about your career. Are you interested in chemical related knowledge and skills, and have a sense of responsibility and learning ability? Our vocational training at SPA offers you the chance to become a fully trained Chemical Operator within two years of study.

In fall 2005, Degussa set up its own training facility for 36 students in cooperation with the Shanghai Petrochemical Academy. In small groups, students have an opportunity to learn more about various specilized topics such as:
- chemical engineering and experimentation
- production technology
- chemical equipment
- automation
- ESHQ (Environment, Safety, Health, Quality).
We will also help you to further develop your English skills. |

In our class, future production workers are trained through “learning by doing” at the Degussa Training Plant, using top-quality production apparatus and learning materials. At the end of the two-year course, the trainees will have reached the same standard as their counterparts in Germany. Degussa has the privilege of being able to offer trainees a job at the end of their training course.
