With over 50 years of experience in the feed industry, the Feed Additives Business Unit is the only single-source supplier in the world of all four important amino acids for animal nutrition; DL-Methionine, Biolys^® (L-lysine), L-Threonine and L-Thryptophan. Mepron^® a rumen protected dl-methionine for dairy cows round out the product portfolio.

The Business Unit has the world’s largest DL-methionine facility. In China, it owns a Joint Venture Degussa Cathay Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to produce Biolys^® L-Lysine.
