High Performance Polymers
For about 40 years, High Performance Polymers Business Unit have been producing high-performance plastics based on polyamide 12, transparent polyamides, polybutylene terephthalate, polyamide 12 powder, copolyamide hot-melt adhesives and a partially crystalline rubber. In addition, we also offer the world's most extensive range of technically available cyclic C8 and C12 synthetic products.
Since 2006, the unit also enjoys global sales of high-temperature polymer PEEK* under brand VESTAKEEP®, produced at JIDA Degussa High Performance Polymers( Changchun) Co. Ltd., our joint venture with Jilin University in China. Our product range therefore expanded to meet extreme mechanical, thermal and chemical requirements.
