Evonik Degussa China Promises a 200,000 RMB Firm Donation for Snow Chaos

Since the middle of January, the heaviest snow in decades has been falling in China's east, central and southern regions for more than a fortnight. It has caused death, structural collapses, blackouts, highway closures and crop destruction. Heavy snow had affected 17 provinces, over million people severely suffered, caused billions of direct loss.  

Evonik Degussa China promises a firm donation of 200,000 RMB to relief those in snow-stricken regions of China through Ministry of Commerce of China. Following our announcement, Evonik is among the first multinational companies operating in China to take immediate actions to support its all-out efforts of the country to help the needy people to combat the blistering and freezing weather.
