Degussa GmbH hereby informs its customers and other users of our product PRINTEX® 140 V that according to our information falsificated Product Safety Information (PSI) on this product has been circulated in one case in the region of China.The falsificated PSI states that PRINTEX® 140 V fulfills the FDA requirement of FDA 178.3297. This is not correct.Please find attached the correct PSI of PRINTEX® 140 V.

Chemical Characterization
Carbon Black is an inorganic black pigment which is insoluble in non-oxidizing media. Manufacturing at temperatures ofover 1000 °C in an oxygen reduced atmosphere results in carbon levels higher than 95 %. Carbon Blacks consist ofprimary particles which form stable aggregates.
Food Regulations
This type of Carbon Black is not recommended to be used for materials and articles intended to come into contact withfood.
